The South Thuringian company Böttcher & Pfötsch GmbH in Crock, Auengrund, which was founded in 2003, is a service provider in the field of manual assembly and surface finishing using pad and screen printing. Since the beginning of 2019, temperature measurement technology products under the Tastotherm® brand have been the focus of corporate development. The company produces at the site and very successfully serves its national and international clientele.

In 1958 the company IMPAC emerged from which its subsidiary Infrapoint GmbH was founded in Ilmenau in 1998, which in turn was taken over in 2007 by the Frankfurt company Lumasense Technologie GmbH.
Since 2010, Heinold Tastotherm in Saalfeld has managed the "Contact Measurement" division, which was split off from this company. Its owner went into well-deserved retirement at the end of 2018. Since January 1, 2019, the business has been continued by the company Böttcher und Pfötsch GmbH. At their location in the Auengrund, the complete production of an extensive range of temperature sensors and accessories as well as their repair and calibration service takes place.
